Gerry Harrington, Eoghan O'Sullivan, Paul de Grae

Sunday, July 13, 8 pm, Harmony Bar

The energetic Kerry-style fiddling of Gerry Harrington, a fond and familiar sound to Wisconsin Irish music audiences in the last decade, returns to Madison this summer. Since moving back to Ireland, Gerry has teamed up with accordion player Eoghan O'Sullivan, a fellow transplant from the greater Sliabh Luachra region of West Cork and East Kerry. The influences of the region's spirited players, particularly their friend and mentor Jackie Daly, are evident on their second acclaimed recording, The Smoky Chimney, where they have joined forces with noted Dublin guitarist, Paul de Grae. Tickets can be purchased at the door for $8.
