Hello, dancers,

We hope you'll join us at the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center for our beginner-friendly Saturday monthly dance on August 12th from 2:00-5:00!

Unfortunately the band we had lined up for our August dance had to cancel this week, so we're going to dance to recorded music this time around. This is a great chance to get some practice dancing in before Milwaukee Irish Fest!

We'll look forward to returning to live music next month from Capitol Ceili Band for our Sept 9th monthly dance.

Monthly Dances at the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center

Please join us for beginner-friendly Irish set dances at the Wil-Mar on the second Saturday of the month from 2-5pm. Our next dances are on August 12th and September 9th!

Don't worry if you're not a seasoned set dancer - all dances will be called. We'll be using gender-neutral (raven/lark) terminology. No partner necessary. Please bring clean, non-scuffing shoes and a mug or water bottle!

A suggested donation of $10 contributes to the room rental and music ($5 for August as we won't have live music), but no one will be excluded due to inability to pay.

When: Saturdays, August 12th and September 9th, from 2-5pm! If you’re new, come a few minutes early for a quick beginner orientation!

Where: Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center, 953 Jenifer St, Madison, WI 53703

Covid policy: Vaccinations required. Masks welcome but optional. Subject to change based on community health guidelines.
