Hello, dancers!

We hope you'll join us at the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center for our beginner-friendly monthly dance on Saturday, March 9th! We'll be enjoying live music from Bryan and Alan from 2-5pm!

Monthly Dances at the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center

Please join us for beginner-friendly Irish set dances at the Wil-Mar on the second Saturday of the month from 2-5pm. Our next dances are on March 9th and April 13th!

Don't worry if you're not a seasoned set dancer - all dances will be called. We'll be using gender-neutral (raven/lark) terminology. No partner necessary. Please bring clean, non-scuffing shoes and a mug or water bottle!

A suggested donation of $10 contributes to the room rental and music, but no one will be excluded due to inability to pay.

When: Saturdays, March 9th and April 13th, from 2-5pm! If you’re new, come a few minutes early for a quick beginner orientation.

Where: Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center, 953 Jenifer St, Madison, WI 53703

Covid policy: Vaccinations required. Masks welcome but optional. Subject to change based on community health guidelines.

"Brush-up" Evening - Thursday in Middleton - April 11th

We won't have a brush-up evening in March, but we'd love to see you in April!

On Thursday, April 11th from 7:30-9pm, we're be hosting a "brush-up" evening to review set dance skills, answer questions, and practice familiar sets. We're suggesting a donation of $5 for each of these “brush-up” days. (These events are intended for dancers who have experience with the basics of set dancing. If you are brand new, please let us know, so we can help you get started!)

Mid-Winter Set Dance Weekend - THANKS!

Many thanks to SetDance Milwaukee for hosting such a lovely Midwinter Set Dance Weekend with Ronan Eastwood, Cosmic Otters, S.T.E.A.M., and athas! We're looking forward to next year already!
