Monthly Dances at the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center

Please join us for beginner-friendly Irish set dances at the Wil-Mar on the second Saturday of the month from 2-5pm. Our next dances are on June 8th and July 13th!

Don't worry if you're not a seasoned set dancer - all dances will be called. We'll be using gender-neutral (raven/lark) terminology. No partner necessary. Please bring clean, non-scuffing shoes and a mug or water bottle!

A suggested donation of $10 contributes to the room rental and music, but no one will be excluded due to inability to pay.

When: Saturdays, June 8th and July 13th, from 2-5pm! If you’re new, come a few minutes early for a quick beginner orientation.

NEW - 4th Mondays Set Dancing

Join us on the 4th Monday of each month for our new regularly-scheduled weeknight dance. For now, these weeknight dances will be hosted in Madison and Middleton, in the homes of two of our dancers. Dancers of all experience levels are welcome. We will be dancing to recorded music.

What: More set dancing!

When: 4th Monday of the month at 7:00

Looking for more set dancing? Check out the offerings in Milwaukee and Chicago! Milwaukee has dancing on many Wednesdays and occasionally on weekends. Chicago has dancing every Tuesday and many Fridays (including live music on June 7th!).

Hello, dancers!

We are hoping to add more set dancing to our calendar, in addition to our Second Saturday dances at Wil-Mar! We are starting a regularly-scheduled weeknight dance with recorded music, once per month. These weeknight dances will be hosted in the homes of a couple of our generous dancers in Madison/Middleton, and will likely run from 7-9 or 7:30-9.

If you are interested in more set dancing, please fill out the survey below to help us determine which day of the week will accommodate the most people. We'll keep the survey open through Tuesday 4/23. Stay tuned for the results!
